About the Work

A dark field gathers across the upper canvas, pressing downward into a restless terrain of shifting greens and muted earth. Broad strokes move in different directions, as if wind, rain, and light are crossing paths at once. Beneath the turbulence, a band of luminous turquoise holds its ground, suggesting water, horizon, or refuge.
